Essie decided she wanted to try her hand at styling. She has a great sense of style and I have kind of been waiting for her to decide on her own to give it a whirl. The story is based off of leather and mixing textures. Courtney did an amazing job pulling this off. What a great young model from Option Models. Hair and make up was by Terri Lodge.
I saw images of Casey on his agencies site (http://www.optionmodelandmedia.com) and wanted to shoot him. There was something about his tat’s and his face that just worked for me.
Casey is a father of 3 wonderful daughters, and just a great guy. Totally what you wouldn’t think from his looks. I love the juxtaposition of his caring face, with all of his tats.

I got together with the amazing stylist Victoria Mesenbrink to do a very stylized sportwear shoot. I have been trying to wrap my head around how I want to shoot sports and sportswear, and I think we succeeded. The concept was to mix fashion with sportswear, as that is what a lot of women do anyway. Hair and make up was by Katherine Ross. Clean and simple concept, but with a great team it worked.

Dealing with human emotions and personal issues, we shot these nudes with all that in mind.
Using words in a photograph can be visually tough, as words always compete with the main subject. Here we used the vocabulary of our model to illustrate not only herself, but that of many women her age.
